Our teacher, Junbelle, comes from the Philippines and is an English Foreign Language teacher in her country. Here, in Australia, she teaches Tagalog.

Tagalog is spoken as a first language by a quarter of the population of the Philippines and by the majority of the population as a second language. Its standardised form is officially recognised as Filipino, the national language and is one of the two official languages, alongside English.
