About The Event
Come with us to celebrate El Día de la Hispanidad. This day is celebrated from Spain, accross to Central and South America, under different names. A public holiday in all these countries, it is spent with family and France - the equivalent of Australia Day.
This year, at Bonjour Toowoomba, we have decided to organise a family friendly fête for all the community to come together around our Hispano-Latino-American community members, meet them, learn about their cultures, this holiday and abov all have a bit of fun and relax.
You will receive a traditional drink upon arrival, traditional soft drinks, teas and coffees supplied throughout the afternoon as well as traditional nibbles and sweets. You will also be able to learn how to make BBQd arepas, we will have a Zumba demonstration and many activities for kids: Mexican “paper picado”, “maracas”, colouring, fan making and story times.
Games for children, music, and a whole lot of fun and surprises.
Each adult event ticket includes a draw ticket (valued at $4 each). You can buy more tickets by messaging us before the event.

1st prize - Latino inspired hamper + 1 term of Spanish group classes (valued at $400)
2nd prize - 1 term of open group classes (valued at $260)
3rd prize - Latino inspired study pack (valued at $50)
